Very popularly known as Sippegowda (in the movie – Sathyavan Savitri). The actor who made his debut, acting in his brother Jaggeshs’ films like Military Mava and Bevu Bella. With success in the movie “Mr.Gargasa”, Komal Kumar is all set as a hero in a movie called Chamkaisi Chindi Udaisi. The movie is inspired from the hollywood hit movie -”There is something about Mary”. Story and screenplay has been written by Komal himself.
In an interview with IndiaGltiz Komal Kumar says “I have the contesting nature to compete. Do not tag me as a comedy actor. I have been doing experiments for each and every role I get says famous actor Komal Kumar whose presence on screen in public life evokes laughter”.
Jaggesh appreciates him saying – “Komal Kumar is not my brother, but he’s my son. He is the only wise man in my family. He shares close relationship with V Ravichandran in thinking. I couldn’t succeed in studies, but he passed LLB with distinction.”

Komal has spoken brilliantly a very nice inter view but the questions asked by the Rj were some what sarcastic i dont know why he was so harsh on wonderful actor such as Komal
the rj does not have common sense and is an idiot. The RJ is a dumb fellow who contradicts his own comments. He says he says sikkapate movies and then when komal tells something about the movie he does not even recognize them. What type of RJ is he. He does not have any idea about kannada industry nor actors he does not know even proper kannada literature knowledge. Such fellows are RJs is radio girmit is tragic. it will no way give good impression about the radio girmit.
Komal is considered a gentlemen in film industry and he should be interviewed with some common sense.
If you have listened to akashavani kannada program where rjs are so matured and the way they treat artists is all together different.
The quality of radio girmit should improve.
