Minugu
Goapu has scored the music for this flick. Let us check out his creativity in doing the same.
The violin rules the acoustics of the first track ie ‘Olave’ sung by Vyas Raj. The violin has the ability to produce piercing sound ! And it suits melancholies and slow, weighted tracks exceedingly well. This song has a commendable composition brought to life by the violinists. Vyas is soulful. Pretty good one.
‘Hey Sanchita’ is a typical fast number ,the kind we find very commonly in movies these days. Sung by Goapu and Apoorva Sridhar. Beats create activity which u cannot ignore and the several special effects added are further enlivened by the singers who are brimming with energy. Apoorva’s range, variation-capacity and attitude-employment are worth mentioning. The tune itself is not very impressive.
Next is ‘Neene neene’ by Vyas Raj and Apoorva again. This number starts off to only instruments extending for a good part of the song before u can get to hear Vyas voicing the lyrics. A speciality of this song is that the instruments and background music as a whole , is very subdued when the singers sing and return in crescendo-style once the lyrics die out….it gives a fresh listening experience. Apoorva is somehow not at her best here. Vyas does a good job.
Title song ‘Minugu’ is next. Goapu lends his vocal chords for this. The lyrics dominate for a large part of the song.High tempo
and female voice in the background are the highlights. Male chorus and repetition of the title word have come out well. The music and tune arent much of a captivating variety.Average one.
The next track is ‘Mannisu’ . Beautiful tune. Minimalist guitar participation enhances the charm of the song. Sung in a mellifluous way and composed to pamper your ears, this track deserves to walk away with the ‘Best Song of the Album’ award !!! 7/10 for this 4.21 minute musical delight.
That was Goapu’s work in ‘Minugu’. It is definitely worth expecting even more from this music director given the fact that this album is testimony to some inherent creative sparks that were given shape and sound by him. Catch hold of this collection for some musical minutes worth experiencing.
