On a musical Savari
Audio Review by WebVani
Hello folks, ready to go on a ride?? Sure enough, cos Savari is here for that ! Music by Manikanth Khadri (son of Saxophone exponent Khadri Gopalnath) makes the ride better than the one on a typical pothole-ridden road! Produced by media baron,Ramoji Rao, this movie’s got a few cool numbers.
‘Ale-ale’ by Karthik and Reeta is a blissful tune. Moderately paced yet fast enough to catch your ears before they turn away. The tune is the heard-something-similar type but u wont get bored cos of the beautiful rendition and the rythmic beats which will make u press the ‘play’ button for this song more than once! Karthik ,as i always say, grows with every song. He sounds seasoned but doesnt let an iota of complacence affect the enthusiasm in the song. Reeta’s voice is good for the drag required in the lyrics. Overall,a 6/10 rating for this.
Sadhana Sargam, who is best remembered for her singing of ‘Chupke se’ from the film Saathiya, sings the next track which is Marali Mareyagi. Her voice takes on high pitch with aplomb. Minimum instrumentals suit the tune very well. The tune itself is worth listening to. Good one.
‘Bisilu Taagi’ by Rahul Nambiyar (who by the way is so busy with his singing assignments or fighting laziness that he hardly finds time to update his blog the first 2 articles of which I found pretty interesting! Rahul ,if u read this, please get more active on ur blog! A request from ur fans…we like ur singing ) . Anyway, comin back to the song, its very ordinary fare. Rahul exudes energy n keeps up to the beats but otherwise u cant say much about this one.
Rhythm Ide. No, i am not commenting on a song here. Its the name of the next number sung by Ranjith. He gives it his best n fully matches up to the beats n of course, the rythm! But once again, not a song u would find of new variety.
Anuradha Bhat n Manikanth pair up for the next one ie ‘Poli Putta’. This track starts off in folk style.Follows up with typical fast beats n rustic singing. Didnt like this one.
Finally, therz Marali Mareyagi again but this time by Shreya Ghoshal (no idea why Khadri wanted two singers to record this one. And btw, there are claims that this number’s been rendered by Anuradha Bhat but printing mistakes led to Shreya’s name on the labels. Anyway,it’s been sung really well)
End of the ride. U ve paid for it with ur time and hope it was worth it !

hey reviewer,
first make sure whether the song was sung by shreya ghosal itself?
then u start reviewing..okie..
Why Tony, what is ur point here?
The song ‘Marali Mareyagi’ was sung by Shreya ghoshal herself.
Please read the review properly and then comment. The review says, “Finally, therz Marali Mareyagi again but this time by Shreya Ghoshal”,
and it mentions abt Sadhana Sargam singing the same song in the earlier part.
@Tony: Yes same song has been sung by both Sadhana Sargam and Shreya Ghoshal. If you read it carefully reviewer says “no idea why Khadri wanted two singers to record this one” says it all.
@tony: hope u saw the comments followin urs. They shud clarify ur doubts.
@shaan and nandu: thanks for responding before i could come across this .
dude….
I m sorry..4 my late reply..
actually its a mistake made by the record label..actually it is Rita. who sung the first track .Ale Ale..
i hope everything is clear now.
if any doubts contact the music director Manikanth Kadri
The confusion was about Shreya Goshal and not about Rita.
Let’s clear the confusion once and for all.
@Tony- That’s wat the review says, rite? That Rita has sung ‘Ale-ale’.
And as Cyber said, the confusion was abt Shreya and not Rita.
Are u saying that Rita has sung ‘Marali Mareyagi’? The answer is a definite NO. Read below.
‘Marali Mareyagi’ has been recorded in two voices one of which is for sure, Sadhana Sargam’s. The other voice was printed on all audio and CD releases (in the first as well as second print) as Shreya Ghoshal’s. SO this review was written based on that.
There was news that the print label carried a mistake and it was Anuradha Bhat (and NOT Rita ) who sang for the seoond recording. The concerned authorities, must do the needful ,if this is true.
Anyway, thanks for raising this point.Hope its been clarified.
Oh god…i m sorry guyzz….Rita…i had something else on my mid while typing…Rita..sry suchi…Anuradha bhatt is the singer…
abt the mistake made by ananda audios..u may all know that…now its my turn fora mistake,,,
